As you enter the dining room, you will notice that there are tables for two or for six people. Thanks to the spirit of conviviality that often develops among guests, it is easy to opt for a place at a table for six and share a meal with other guests in a pleasantly informal atmosphere.

7:45 to 8:30 Fitness walk

Start your day off on the right foot with a walk along our magnificent trails and meander through pristine forests and rolling hills. This fitness walk will surely get your heart pumping. It is held every morning and is an excellent way to start your day. Who knows? It might become habit forming.

8:35 to 9:10 Training with your own body weight

Join our kinesiologists and discover a simple way to train with your own body!

9:30 to 10:10 Anti-stress walk

You are out of time? This walk is right for you! Special techniques will help you focus on yourself and enjoy the here and now. It also allows you to take a well deserved break and free yourself from the daily grind.

10:15 to 11:15 How to overcome pain through diet

**This workshop is offered only in French; however please feel free to join us!** Silent inflammation is responsible for a majority of health problems including cancer and autoimmune diseases. Our diet and intestinal health plays a key role in this process. Naturopathy offers unquestionable help to understand and better control silent inflammation. Meet our naturopath Ilona Dowgiallo. Ilona graduated in 1992 at the Graduate School of Naturopathic Quebec. She also holds a PhD in physics followed by 14 years of research in the Department of Nuclear Medicine and Radiobiology CHUS in Sherbrooke. She took additional training in acupuncture, Ayurvedic medicine and teaching in health science (University of Montreal). After all these years of research and practice, Ilona offers a unique approach to naturopathic consultation.

12pm to 12:45 pm Muscle tone in water

The muscle tone class is designed to respect the abilities and personal goals of each participant. Aqua-gym is a low impact class and is conducted in shallow water. This fitness class is easy on the joints, so it is accessible to just about anyone who doesn't mind getting wet. Our instructors are waiting for you!! It is advised to take this class before lunch.

12pm to 2pm Lunch

Throughout the years, we have at times questioned whether or not to maintain buffet service at all meals. However, our experience, and also our deepest convictions, has shown that only the buffet has the ability to titillate and encourage visitors to discover new foods and a greater assortment of condiments. This formula has also been preferred because it allows each guest to create their own special dish, all in taking into account the activity they wish to do after their meal. At lunchtime, for example, one who is getting ready to receive a treatment will be happy to put together a light meal from the many choices available at the buffet. Conversely so, at the same meal, a visitor having just completed a session of aqua-aerobics and who will be going on a long hike in the afternoon, will be happy to refuel and all the while make more culinary discoveries! It is to preserve this flexibility and variety that the buffet has been maintained at breakfast and during the evening meal, even though table service is offered.

3pm « Vert » de bienvenue, welcome

At 3PM the day of your arrival, you are invited to our "Vert de bienvenue." This meeting aims to familiarize yourself with the site and give you the information needed to maximize the benefits and enjoyment of your stay at Spa Eastman.

5pm to 5:45pm Edible and useful plants during Spring time

**This workshop is offered only in French; however please feel free to join us!** Garden vegetables are far from ready ! However, we have at our disposal several free edible plants around here. We believe of course leek and fiddleheads . But there is also cattails , nettles , fat cabbage, dandelion leaves and daisies, nasturtium flowers , violets and clover . We may also use plants as fertilizer , to treat bites or burns and even in our cosmetics! Come discover the many virtues of our wild or garden plants with Edith Smeesters . Edith Smeesters graduated in biology and is a pioneer in environment in Quebec. She has written several books and lectures on the subject for over 25 years. Edith is currently spokesperson for Équiterre ecological horticulture. She has received several awards for his involvement in environment and is a member of the prestigious " Circle of the Phoenix ." It is among the 100 most influential women in Quebec , according to Chatelaine magazine ( Nov. 2009).

6pm Presentation of the menu

Everyday we welcome you to the to the tea room to discover the secrets of our savory meal, including the description of the inspiration dish of the day. A great opportunity to learn more about the basic principles of our tonic cuisine.

8pm to 9 pm The creative power of thought

**This workshop is only in french, feel free to joint us!** Thoughts are energy. They are fueled by our beliefs, conscious and unconscious . Our thoughts are the basis for everything we get , whether desired or anticipated ... Positive or negative , they weave the course of our lives at every moment. We have the power to create our reality and develop a confident attitude. Feel victimized ! Ever ! Presented by Nicole Dumont. Nicole Dumont graduated from the Canadian Centre for Yoga (now CTY ) and in 1980 began teaching yoga and various relaxation methods . Meanwhile, she studied psychology, philosophy, relationships, methods of energy healing and dowsing. Although she worked for over 20 years as a speaker, facilitator , author and coach, she always kept a special place for yoga it considers a lifestyle. It transmits with simplicity and passion discoveries that have improved their quality of life .
