Spa Eastman

The Spa

All body treatments and meals take place in this magnificent new wooden building. With its functional facilities, harmonious decor, splendid indoor pool and many luxurious rooms (some with terrace and fireplace), it has everything to soothe even the tensest person. An inviting dining room and a large common room with fireplace rounds off this pavilion, which really does offer "everything under one roof!"

The Spa Pavilion's History

The idea of creating a great main pavilion had been floating in the back of Jocelyna Dubuc’s mind since 1985. She had been dreaming of a large central building around which the little village of health, that over the years had gradually become the Spa Eastman, would gravitate. Meanwhile, the Spa Eastman had simply been expanding wisely and gracefully.

The new main pavilion, Le Spa, finally saw the light in the fall of 1999. Of course the first to really take advantage of this rebirth were the spaces devoted to the treatments. More than thirty treatment rooms, a pool designed for individual treatments (Watsu®, European Massage, jet massage), a gymnasium for private sessions with a personal trainer, a pool, a hammam and a number of cozy areas allowed the Spa Eastman clients to fully savour the benefits of relaxation in a positively serene, calm and pleasant environment.

On the same floor as the reception area, the great hall became a veritable art gallery where clients could admire artwork created by local painters. Even the view from the windows of the great hall unveils the priceless work of Mother Nature: the majestic Mt. Orford. Occasionally, corporate, local or cultural events, such as concerts or private viewings, paint the great hall with another colourful hue.

With the addition of this new pavilion, the Spa Eastman also adapted the way the evening meal was served. A full service dining room was now offered for the evening meal including a wine list suggesting an array of fine and organic wines. Of course, the dining room has preserved the convivial atmosphere for which it has always been famous. As has always been the tradition here at the Spa Eastman, large tables make it easy for clients to get together and share a delicious meal while enjoying fine company. Finally, Le Spa also made it possible for the addition of rooms of superior quality: rooms with a view of the mountain, a fireplace and therapeutic baths. These new units have brought the total number of rooms throughout the Spa Eastman up to forty-three.
