As part of the upcoming signature retreat on Femininity and Ayurveda, Krystine St-Laurent has taken a recipe from our book La Cuisine tonique – the Tonique green smoothie – and added a few ingredients to adapt it to the onset of the cold season, in support of feminine hormonal balance.

Ingredients
- ½ avocado
- 250 ml (1 cup) vegetable drink of your choice
- 250 ml (1 cup) fresh spinach
- 1 tbsp. lime juice
- 2 fresh mint leaves
- 1 tsp monk fruit sugar (optional)
To this original recipe from the book, Krystine suggests adding:
- A pinch of cayenne pepper: excellent for stimulating digestion;
- A piece of organic ginger, peeled and coarsely chopped: stimulates immunity and digestion;
- A small handful of sesame seeds: key ingredient for hormonal balance.
Preparation
- In a blender, blend all ingredients until smooth;
- Avoid drinking too cold, preferring lukewarm temperatures.
