Nut cheese

Delicious, easy and gourmet, this nutty cheese can replace your “tartine” cheese. For example, try it with our recipe of avocado toast with citrus-dill salmon gravlax.

Output: 8 servings

Ingredients
  • 250 ml (1 cup) cashews
  • 250 ml (1 cup) almonds
  • 2 probiotic capsules
  • 2 tbsp. water
  • Salt to taste

Preparation

Place the cashews in a bowl and cover with water. Place the almonds in another bowl and cover with water. Soak nuts for 8 hours. Rinse and drain.

Blend walnuts and probiotics in a blender. Let stand 8h at room temperature.

Blend the cheese in a blender, adding a little water to achieve the desired consistency. Keep refrigerated.

If desired, 2 tsp finely chopped herbs such as parsley, tarragon or chives can be added to the cheese.
