I am just returning from a lovely trip to Paris, Venice, Tuscany, Cinque Terre and Côte d’Azur. It was my first visit ever in Europe and, well, it was quite an amazing voyage! What was the link between these destinations? They were all places to see, places to walk.
Remember the movie The Big Blue? When I first went to Spa Eastman, I really was in love with this movie. I had the 6-feet high poster in my living room and the sound track of the movie kept playing all the time. It was in 1992.
Pressotherapy, usually shown with those big grey boots, is not the most photogenic spa treatment. But I sure find it surprisingly relaxing. In my recent stay at Spa Eastman, when I was doing the “initiation to a cure“, pressotherapy was the first treatment on my schedule.
When I made my reservation for this stay, I had plenty of choice: Relaxation & Vitality package, Relaxation & Fitness, Signature package… But I chose the cure instead. I guess I knew I needed it.
I had a wonderful 3-day stay at Spa Eastman. I had chosen the 30th anniversary package, “Initiation to a cure”. And did enjoyed every minute of it.

You’ve been to Spa Eastman recently? Was it your first experience? How was it? What did you like the most? Unless it was not your first visit at all… Maybe it now is your annual pilgrimage and you were there for the 4th… maybe 7th time? What keeps you coming back to Spa Eastman? Tell […]
I’m doing my best to eat healthy food. I have read “Enter The Zone”, “Foods That Fight Cancer” and Renée Frappier’s books. I know what I should eat. But when I’m standing in front of the food market stalls, trying to buy smart (consume differently!), I sometimes get confused…
“So, how was your vacation?” ─ Tiring. I’m exhausted. We hear this so often nowadays, it almost sounds normal. Be it after a week on a cruiseship in the Carribean or after a couple of weeks racing accross Europe, lots of vacationers come back in a worst shape they were when they left. Maybe we […]
“Are you really asking me to jump into this snow bank? Hey! I’m wearing a bathing suit!!!” Guess what? The therapist wasn’t joking at all. But neither was I.
