Raw chocolate truffles

In this recipe, the taste of avocado is totally imperceptible!

You can replace the vanilla with a pinch of salt, cinnamon, Espelette pepper, peppermint or orange essence. You can also add any of these ingredients while retaining the vanilla.

To coat the truffles and vary the pleasure, replace the cocoa powder with coconut flakes, almond flakes, ground hazelnuts, matcha tea, etc.

Output: about thirty truffles

Ingredients :

  • 3 tbsp. melted coconut oil
  • The flesh of 2 small ripe avocados
  • 1 tbsp. vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp. monk fruit sugar
  • 250 ml (1 cup) raw cacao powder +
  • 2 tbsp. to coat truffles


  • In a blender, combine coconut oil, avocado, vanilla and monk fruit sugar.
  • Add 250 ml (1 cup) cocoa powder and mix until smooth. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  • Spread 2 tablespoons of cocoa on a flat plate.
  • Take 1 teaspoon of the chocolate mixture and form into a small ball. Repeat until all the chocolate has been used up. Roll each truffle in cocoa powder.
  • Enjoy immediately or store in the fridge or freezer.
