Job description

Housekeeping duties such as changing bed linen, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming areas identified by the head housekeeper. Maintaining public areas.

Responsibilities:

• Start the morning routine in each pavilion by filling the baskets with cleaning materials
• Carry bed linen to each pavilion (daily)
• Change the bed linen and make the beds
• Clean the bathrooms
• Dust the furniture and vacuum each bedroom and living room
• Sweep the balconies
• Empty the outside ashtrays
• Undertake (occasional) heavy tasks – clean windows, walls, scrub showers etc.
• Replace towels and top up the supply of items provided to guests
• Refill the herbal tea containers and make sure they are clean
• Look after the plants
• Report any breakages or damage to the appropriate person
• Make sure there is an adequate supply of stock and work tools
• Apply the rules of the sustainable development plan
• Return the keys and write down any missing items, ready for the next day, as well as the time of day you leave work
• Keep your workspace in the laundry room clean (empty your bag of product – little clean office)
• Participate in service meetings
• Accept the necessary training and, in turn, help to train colleagues, if needed
• Perform any related task if requested by your superior.
