Hatha Yoga
Come practice traditional yoga postures to relieve the body in a safe and gentle way. This practice accessible to all, in accordance with the principles of alignment, develops your flexibility, strength and balance, both physically and mentally. Kasia is in our kinesiologist’s team since 2014. Wanting to enhance the importance of her first passion, yoga, she decided to complete her bachelor of kinesiology and well-being program at University of Sherbrooke. Yoga teacher since 2008, Essentrics teacher and Thai massage practitioner (joint mobilization, soft stretching and pressure), she’s interested in therapeutic movements. She’s very passionate of general well-being and she will help you to find different tools to brighten your lifestyle. Thoughtful and open hearted, she will take care of both your body and spirit!

ESSENTRICS is a unique program that rapidly changes the shape of your body through a dynamic and fluid combination of strengthening and stretching. This workout develops lean, strong and flexible muscles with immediate changes to your posture. ESSENTRICS is even smarter than that; it goes beyond changing just the look of your body, it also cares about how you feel in your body. With a diverse music playlist accompanying each routine, this equipment free workout leaves you feeling energized, positive and healthy.

At 3PM the day of your arrival, you are invited to our "Vert de bienvenue." This meeting aims to familiarize yourself with the site and give you the information needed to maximize the benefits and enjoyment of your stay at Spa Eastman. It is followed by the tasting of our famous green smoothie, which has also given its name to the tour "Vert de Bienvenue" means green welcome!

Anti-stress walk
During this slow and meditative walk, you will explore specific techniques that will help you inhabit your body more and get in touch with yourself. A great way to detach from mental agitation, soothe the nervous system and better manage stress : it's told that this class is worth a treatment!

*This lecture is offered in french only, however feel free to join us!* Vous vous demandez, qu’est-ce qui a inspiré Jocelyna Dubuc à fonder le Spa Eastman, qu’est-ce qui a fait qu’il y a 50 ans, et oui 50 ans, elle s’est mise à rêver de créer un endroit où les gens viendraient se ressourcer, se mettre en forme ? Pourquoi en 2000 l’histoire du sans gluten et sans produit laitier est doucement apparu dans les cures du Spa Eastman et pourquoi 18 ans plus tard le menu est exclusivement sans gluten et sans produit laitier ? Une mode ? Dans cette causerie livrée avec humour, Jocelyna Dubuc, présidente et fondatrice du Spa Eastman, raconte l’histoire et l’évolution des choix alimentaires qui ont mené à la création d’une cuisine unique, maintes fois primée.
