Yogatherapy

 

Yogatherapy uses different techniques such as:

  • relaxation (savasana);
  • the many postures (asanas);
  • the internalized repetition of phonemes (mantras);
  • the breaths (pranayama);
  • the various forms of meditation and contemplation (Dharana, concentration and Dhyana, meditation);
  • the respect of certain hygienic prescriptions, the valorization of rules of life which seem sometimes paradoxical (non-competition, non-violence or ahimsa, etc.).

These methods are used mainly in the context of individual teaching: the proposed practice is adapted to the student's request and specificities.
