Description of the retreat
Weave your cocoon for a fresh new start!
Experience the beauty, safety and energy that characterizes the Eastman SPA. This three-day bilingual retreat is for people facing cancer who wish to take a break from it all and recharge their batteries. Whether you have recently been diagnosed, are currently undergoing treatments, or are recovering from cancer, you will benefit from valuable techniques and tools focused on both physical and emotional well-being.
Oncology yoga is a specific and proven approach tailored to the needs of people diagnosed with cancer. The retreat is designed to support participants through a series of exercises and teachings that will benefit all aspects of their lives.
The program, which focuses on awareness and mindfulness, will provide a respectful space that will enable participants to:
- become familiar with oncology yoga practices and meditation techniques;
- participate in conferences, written exercises, and rituals to take stock of their situation and redefine their journey;
- access the energy of the heart;
- enjoy group dynamics and find individual moments of silence and reflection;
- enjoy the inspiring environment of the Eastman SPA and activities offered: walks in the forest, various treatments, “cuisine tonique”®, etc.;
- create an action plan to ensure continuity after the workshop is over.
During these workshops, we will explore the benefits of somatic practices, along with the power of meditation and the effects of oncology yoga on the body and mind. No prior yoga experience is required.
